Costume, Props, Actors, Locations and the Filming schedule

Costume - Our actress wears blue jeans, a grey jumper, pink boots and her hair is tied up in plaits. She wears this to create and 'innocent' young girl look.

Actors/Actresses - We only have one actress featured in our film her name is Millie Fennell and she is eleven years old.

Locations - We used three locations within our film...

                        1. Olivia's Garden

                        2. Olivia's Dining room

                        3. A woodland area in Stapleford

Props - We used only one prop and this was a book for our actress to read.

Filming Scedule - We spent time to film our video on the 17th, 18th and 19th of Decemeber.

Risk assessment

1.    Tripping over a tripod 

How to reduce risk: Be aware, make sure the tripod is on a flat surface

2.    Tripping over a chair or other items (perhaps in the woods)

How to reduce risk: Be aware, push chairs and other items out of the way whilst filming, do not leave items on the floor

3.    Dropping equipment

How to reduce risk: Be mindful and careful of the equipment whilst carrying it around, carry items with two hands if needs be

4.    Getting lost in the woods

How to reduce risk: Try and remember the route, carry a mobile around with you at all times and work in groups of at least three

Titles - Planning and research

Planning: 

We decided to start with creating two company names to open our video. Our first 'Black Cat Productions' and the second being 'Firewalk Entertainment'. I took on the role of creating the animations/logo's for these company creations. This is what I came up with...

We then started to talk about ideas for the plot of our thriller. We decided to base our thriller around a paedophile theme where a child would be alone in their house and a paedophile character would be walking through the woods towards the house. We then thought it would be a good idea to come up with a name for our thriller, we came up with 'Diverted'. I then created a title for our thriller, it looks like this...
